Cub Scout Pack 84 at GAUMC

We currently have four cub scout dens at GAUMC. Cub scouts is for boys from the first grade to the fifth grade. We do several community service projects each year.
TIGERS are a group for boys in the 1st grade. They meet twice a month working on den and family achievements and have one go see it a month.
Wolves are a group for boys in the second grade. They meet every week working on 12 of their achievements towards their badge rank.
Bears are a group for boys in the third grade. They meet every week working on 12 of 24 possible achievements towards their badge rank.
Webelos is a little different. It is a two year program for boys in the fourth grade (Webelo 1) and the fifth grade (Webelo 2). They work on activity badges that help prepare them for Boy Scouts. They are able to go camping learning these skills more often too. They meet every week.

PACK MEETING -
The entire pack meets once a month for a pack meeting. This is where advancements, achievements and any special recognitions are given out. Each den takes turn "hosting" a pack meeting where that leader greets and leads the meeting.

FUND RAISING -
We have an annual fund raiser in November (a hamburger supper) to raise money to buy these ranks, patches and advancements.

Every year we have an annual pack overnight camping trip. Each scout is required to have an adult go with them. We have games, skits, songs, flag ceremonies, pinewood derbies, rain gutter regatta race, fishing, hiking.....really enjoying nature.
